Spring Lake Managed Business District Steering Committee
On January 1, 2007
Michael Redpath, Chief Inspiration Officer of Redpath
and Associates LLC, was appointed as Downtown Planning
Consultant for the Borough of Spring Lake. In that
capacity, he is facilitating the Spring Lake Managed
Business District Steering Committee. That committee is
evaluating the various options for a managed business
district in Spring Lake and is expected to make a
recommendation to Mayor and Council by late June.
Downtown Toms River
Michael Redpath, Chief Inspiration Officer of Redpath
and Associates LLC, is into his fourth year as Executive
Director of Downtown Toms River (the Toms River Business Improvement
District).
Shore Community Bank Redpath and
Associates assisted this Ocean County-based
community bank with special projects such as grand
openings, web site design and newsletters.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ocean County
Conducted Board planning retreats twice for this Ocean
County non-profit.
Garden State Philharmonic
Michael Redpath, Redpath and Associates Chief
Inspiration Officer, recently led the Board of Directors
of the Garden State Philharmonic in a two evening
marketing planning retreat. The goal was to assist the
orchestra in becoming more aware of customer trends in
its service area and to develop both programs and
promotion to draw those customers.
McGraw Hill, Business Services Center
Through Mercer County Community College's Center for
Training and Development, Michael Redpath provided 36
hours of training in Integrated Marketing
Communications, Public Relations, and Developing a
Marketing Plan for executives at McGraw Hill
Publishing's Business Services Center in East Windsor,
NJ.
MTV Return to Seaside Heights
Under contract to the Borough of Seaside Heights,
Redpath and Associates LLC negotiated the
return of MTV to Seaside Heights
for a summer of television production in 2002. MTV has never
returned to a community before, as a policy of creative
freshness. Redpath first brought MTV to Seaside Heights
for the summer of 1998.
Certificate Program in Customer Service
At the request of Ocean County College's Continuing
Education Department, Michael Redpath has twice presented a 12
hour certificate program in customer service.
The
third edition of the
program is scheduled to begin March 2, 2004.
Downtown Business Advisory Teams
Assisting the Downtown New Jersey organization, Michael
Redpath has been part of Downtown Business Advisory
Teams that studied and made recommendations for the
downtowns in Barnegat, Toms River, Palmyra, Sussex, and
Vernon, NJ.
Board Memberships
Both to serve the community and "learn and grow through
doing," Michael Redpath is serving on the Board of
Directors of Downtown New Jersey (DNJ), the
Monmouth-Ocean Development Council (MODC), and the
Middle Atlantic Festival and Events Association. He
serves as chairperson of DNJ's Government Affairs
Committee and MODC's Cultural and Tourism Committee. He
is also a member of the Stewardship Commission of the
Episcopal Diocese of New Jersey.
New Jersey Governor's Conference on Tourism
Michael Redpath served as chairperson of the
Program Committee for the New Jersey Governor's
Conference on Tourism in 2003, 2004, and 2005. In that position he
was been
responsible for identifying educational needs in the
state's industry, and working with program coordinators
to build workshops to address those needs.
OCEAN Inc.
Through Ocean County College's Center for Business
Education and Training, Michael Redpath provided OCEAN
Inc., a community services organization, with two days
of customer service training.
CHAT
Under the auspices of the Monmouth Ocean Development
Council, Michael Redpath led the group that put together
an exposition and networking event designed to bring
together the cultural, heritage, arts, and tourism
aspects of the leisure industry in the two-county area.
